What is the CFE?

The CFE is the Caisse des Français de l’étranger. Set up in 1978, its vocation is to enable expatriates to benefit from the same social protection as in France. It provides social protection for more than 200,000 expatriates worldwide.

 

The CFE is a private law body in charge of a public service mission. It is placed under the supervision of the Ministry in charge of social security and the budget.

What is the GMCI package?

The GMCI Package is private international cover, providing Health-Hospitalisation protection from the 1st €1 + Health repatriation + Accident, sickness, incapacity for work, disability and death benefits. The private health-repatriation plan can be extended to your family (self-reported spouse and dependent children) on request. No deductible or proof of marriage required.

We have a dedicated person at SAGE to manage the reimbursement of expenses within 10 days of receipt of paperwork in relation to insurance for direct coverage in the event of hospitalisation.
